Induction speaker stand

Set your phone down. The sound comes on.

Perch is a speaker and a stand in one. Rest your phone or tablet against it and the audio plays through the speaker, no pairing. Bluetooth 5.4 when you want it, a 1500 mAh battery when there is no outlet, and a ring of light you can switch off.

How it works

One stand. Four jobs.

Perch replaces the speaker, the stand and the bedside light with one small thing that charges over USB.

  1. Induction mode

Rest your phone against the pad with its speaker facing it. The audio plays through Perch straight away, with no pairing and no app.

Works with any phone that has a speaker.

  2. Bluetooth 5.4

Pair once for a stable connection from across the room, from a phone, tablet or laptop.

Induction and Bluetooth, your choice each time.

  3. Stand for phone or tablet

The foot folds out and holds a phone or a tablet at up to 75 degrees. Films, recipes, video calls, live streams.

    Folds flat to pack.

  4. Ambient ring

A soft gradient of colour around the face that lights a desk or bedside. Turn it off when you want the room dark.

1500 mAh battery, charges over USB.

Where it ends up living

The same stand, four places. It weighs under half a kilo, so it moves with you.

  • Tablet

    A full-size tablet, hands free

Open the foot and the stand takes a tablet in landscape. Recipes in the kitchen, a film on the balcony, no outlet needed.

  • Any device

Phone by induction, everything else by Bluetooth

Laptop, tablet or a second phone pair over Bluetooth 5.4. Your own phone just leans on the stand.

  • Bedside

Film in bed, light off at the end

Lean the phone on the stand and induction picks up the sound. The ring doubles as a night light until you tap it off.

  • Desk

A speaker that holds your second screen

Phone upright for calls and notifications, music over Bluetooth from the laptop. The glow is easier on the eyes than an overhead bulb.

From customers

What people tell us

Quoted with permission. We do not edit out the four-star ones.

  • Replaced two things on the nightstand

I had a little speaker and a phone stand fighting for space. This is both, and the induction mode genuinely works, I just lean the phone on it and the podcast comes out of the speaker. The light is dimmer than I expected, which I like.

  • Holds an iPad in the kitchen

Opened the foot all the way and it takes a full-size tablet without tipping. Sound is clearly better than the tablet's own. Four stars because I would prefer a USB-C port to the cable it ships with.

  • Arrived inside the window

Checkout said two weeks, it took eleven days, tracked the whole way. No surprise fees at the door. Came well packed.

Common questions

Before you order

How does induction mode work, and does it need pairing?

No pairing. Play anything on your phone, then rest the phone on the stand with its speaker facing the pad. Perch picks up the sound through induction and plays it through its own driver. It works with any phone that has a speaker, with no app and no Bluetooth. For a tablet or a laptop, or when you want to keep the phone in your hand, use Bluetooth instead.

Does it hold a tablet?

Yes. The foot folds out and the stand tilts to 75 degrees, which takes a full-size tablet in landscape. Open the foot fully for anything larger than a phone.

How long does the battery last?

The battery is 1500 mAh. How long that lasts depends on volume and on whether the light is on, so we would rather not quote a single number. An evening of film at normal volume is comfortably within range. It charges over USB with the cable in the box, and it works while plugged in.

Can I turn the light off?

Yes. The ring has its own control and can be switched off while the speaker keeps playing.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders arrive in 8 to 15 business days with tracking, and the estimate shown at checkout for your address is the real one. Shipping is free in Canada. Any duties or taxes are calculated and shown at checkout, so there is nothing to pay at the door.

What if it is not for me, or it stops working?

Send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, no explanation needed and no restocking fee. If it develops a fault within 12 months, send us a short video and we ship a replacement. You do not need to return the faulty one.
